Thiruvananthapuram the Princely  Capital & Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple

The Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple in the district Thiruvananthapuram named after the lord Anantha Padmanabhaswamy (Mahavishnu) is one of the seven Parasurama temples in Kerala and one of the 108 Divya Desams (holiest abodes) of the Lord Mahavishnu. Renowned for its sculptural beauty, ancient work of art in stone and bronze, the mural paintings and wood carvings makes this temple a fine specimen of the Dravidian style of architecture drawing innumerable tourists, pilgrims and archeological aspirants to this divine abode.
